Why Graphene?
The most lightweight, durable, slim, and proficient conductor of both heat and electricity ever. Graphene, a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice, holds immense importance in various fields due to its remarkable properties. Here are some of the key aspects that highlight the significance of graphene.

Sustainability
LOATA is deeply committed to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices. We understand the critical importance of minimizing our ecological footprint and strive to lead the way in creating eco-friendly solutions. Graphene, as a material, plays a pivotal role in our sustainability efforts. Its exceptional properties allow us to develop products and technologies that promote a greener future. For instance, in the energy sector, graphene-enhanced batteries and supercapacitors offer high-performance, longer-lasting alternatives that reduce the need for frequent replacements.
Research and Development
- LOATA has a strong track record of positive collaborations with Australian research institutions, particularly the University of Melbourne (UoM), achieving breakthroughs in graphene applications for concrete, which significantly reduce cement use and CO2 emissions.
- LOATA also collaborate with the University of Adelaide, AM2D Centre, ARC TREMS, SmartCrete CRC, RMIT, Global Victoria, and UNSW on various graphene R&D projects.
- Additionally, LOATA partners with industry leaders such as Hanson Concrete, Bunnings, AkzoNobel, and Nippon in Australia.
Manufacturing
LOATA prides itself on employing cutting-edge manufacturing processes and technologies to produce high-quality graphene products. Our graphene is synthesized through a combination of methods, including chemical vapor deposition (CVD), liquid-phase exfoliation, and mechanical exfoliation. These processes allow us to create graphene of exceptional purity and structural integrity, ensuring its suitability for a wide range of applications.
To maintain the highest standards of quality, our manufacturing process includes rigorous quality control and testing procedures. We utilize advanced analytical techniques such as Raman spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, and electron microscopy to characterize and verify the quality of our graphene. This meticulous approach ensures that each batch of graphene meets our stringent criteria for excellence.
Products
Graphene Oxide (50g)
Graphene Oxide (GO) is the oxidized form of graphene. A single- atomic layered material is formed by the oxidation of graphite. GO is easy to process since it is dispersible in water and other solvents. GO is a unique material with various oxygen containing functionalities such as epoxide, carbonyl, carboxyl and hydroxyl groups.
Reduced Graphene Oxide (1g)
Reduced Graphene Oxide (rGO) is produced by reducing Graphene Oxide thermally, Chemically, or through IR or UV irradiation to obtain a powder form.
GO Dispersion (50ml)
The standard dispersions offered by CGT are concentrated between 1g/l to 25/l. The concentration can be changed as per any special requirement.
Mission Specific GO
Let’s collaborate and create mission specific graphene to suit your needs.
